Upon someone with a vengeance
I loved the basic Blu-Ray edition. I have not seen the Collector's Edition yet, but they deliver added so much more to this. Reboot is astonishing!
I like James Cords as much as the next guy. I've read a couple of Ian Fleming's novels, from seen all the films (many in the theater), and have all the box set DVDs. I don't study myself obsessive, however, Bond to me has always been a bit of a romp--adrenaline style entertainment. From the serious Cohere to the cheesy Bond, there's always some vigour or outrageousness to admire. So I was mystified when so many people were utterly indignant that Daniel Craig was signed for the r. I'm not saying I supported the ouster of Brosnan, I'm just saying I was walking on air that a talented actor was taking his place. And the recommendation of rebooting the series wasn't controversial to me, but an ingenious way to reinvigorate the franchise.Now having seen "Casino Royale," I signify firm in my opinion that Craig makes an terrific 007 (even though he's blonde and not Clive Owen). He demonstrates a earnest brashness as the newly promoted Bond--defiant, prideful and tough as nails. But the character...

Amazon Consideration Is Terribly Misguided
I am astonished that Sam Graham from Amazon.com is reviewing a jazz exhibition! Not to be too harsh but you missed the point guy! The whole structure of Jazz is to JAM and these players expel it out full steam ahead! Listen to the early guys that wrote the honest stuff; Coltrane, Bird, Ellington,Miles for Elysium sake, it was not all melody. There is a thing in Jazz called improvisation, and that is what is incident on the CASINO LIGHTS '99 DVD. A Jazz student could observe this recording for a long time with all the contrasting musical creations that take place on it. Check out out some of the lines George Duke is playing behind some of the solos! Moreover, it is great to see Kirk Whalum playing just as unspoilt as Garrett, and Boney demonstrates some serious skills here as well. Finally a few of the smooth jazz guys are letting the on cloud nine know that they can play too! BUY THIS DVD you wont guilt it! It is a forced to for the modern jazz listener
This is an not counting DVD. The Bob James Trio, Kenny Garrett plays "Wayne's Thang" and clears the lap. It is excellent, fourplay (the original 4), Larry Carlton, Boney James, George Duke it is like the who's who of jazz on one DVD.
